Sometimes, hustlers wear pjs. Power dressing doesn't always mean power suits, and jammies can be most conducive to big-idea brainstorms and long sessions pouring wisdom into your keyboard. I've found a team of three women from North Vancouver who are using their talents to take loungewear to the next level. Almost every chic I know is working on something brilliant right now that requires shifting seamlessly between hibernating and meeting-taking.
This month, my crew had the chance to up their cozy by heading to this insta post and telling me what they were currently working on in the comments. The winner? @carriepablico, a smokin' mom of two young babes who is working to find her rhythm between momlife and studentlife as she prepped to start school to become a special education teacher. Carrie scored this turtleneck — my favourite piece from my most recent collab + photoshoot with the comfort scientists at Paper Label — so she can tap into her brilliance and feel like a babe. Channeling Steve Jobs, without looking like Steve Jobs. I'd say that's one magic effin' turtleneck.
